The Call.

My mission call arrived at my house, in Utah, on Wednesday May 19th. I was working for APX down in Houston, Texas but, my parents really wanted me to open it at home with them, so we planned to have the call get sent to Utah and for them to fly me home for a bit to open it! I got back to Utah around 5 p.m. on Saturday, almost the exact same time as Coulsen Phillips got in from AZ to open his call that also came on Wednesday! My flightback to Houston left around 3 p.m. the very next day (Sunday) and my dad wasn't going to get home till late that night, we ended up waiting for him to get in and I opened it there in my kitchen with my friends and family.

Now that I think about it, before I started reading the letter I saw the passport application so had I been thinking clearly I might have gotten a hint at foreign before I began reading...

Uruguay Montevideo. Spanish. Argentina MTC. September 16, 2010.

Needless to say I was (and still am) ecstatic! I have never heard of anyone going straight to the Argentina MTC so that is pretty cool, and I'm really glad I get to learn Spanish. My brother who is currently serving in PA wrote me a letter telling me how I better not go spanish speaking because if I do it will make him the 'outcast' brother.

I am so excited to be able to serve the saints down in Uruguay, I wish I could leave sooner, but I know I could use some time to prepare! Thanks for all the support and congratulations!
